Druid, as I said to you before, One.com is not really suitable for me because I did not want them to have control of the domain name... Also these days even their hosting deal has been surpassed. But thanks for the advice.

Just walked back from the end of le tour de france! it finished here in Foix today, it was excellent A great finish to my time here in france, off home tomorrow.
Seems the rating and download counter is working again, and no loss of ownership so far.

I tried to get them to upgrade this web account to PHP 5, they gave me an excuse and couldnt do so.
Anyway I have just purchased new hosting with another provider, the new provider has PHP5 and MYSQL 5, this means that there will be a gap in service for a few days while I transfer the domain over, I will make a post to let you know when that is going to happen.
The reason Tetra\'s code is broken is mainly because of the PHP4 instalation on this server. It\'s not Tetras fault, apologies to him for this shit.
It will be sorted out in the near future and this will become a distant memory
Retro-Remakes deserves good hosting and you guys deserve a good website and I\'ll make sure it happens.

i\'m looking into the rating problem.
Sorry about the loss of ownership with posting messages, i\'m testing the session variables atm to see if its the server or my coding 
if theres more loss of post ownership etc, then its the server but it could be an oversight on my part.
I will be back home soon, so I can dedicate more time to the problems. I have some solutions in mind to counter the loss of session data, but don\'t have the time right now to code and implement it.
hellsangel, can you actually change someones comment? or just get as far as seeing the edit box?

Maybe just a variable clash somewhere?
Anyway Tetra is getting back home from France in a few days and I am thinking about moving this site to somewhere with PHP5 so that his routines work the way he intended them.
