@Shok, as soon as I can get it together to do so, really want to come down, but i've had a lot of outgoings recently, and I want to drive down this time. I'm gonna borrow a car and insure my self for a week that train journey sucked xD

| Stormbringer | 15-11-2008 @ 20:33 | | Slams: 863 | @janer: well... even a black screen with the tune from Lightforce would be fantastic! It's one of my favorite C64 tunes ever!! Now that I have my tool box of generic routines, you can expect several C64 remakes before the end of the year
@Tetra: hehe, Shockwave is so right! The other day somebody got confused and tried to run the Amiga original executables on the Win32 platform ...

| Shockwave | 15-11-2008 @ 19:56 | | Slams: 803 | Wow, thanks Tetra
Seems like platforms are now added.
One slight request, could platform say "Original Platform" ?
Some people will be trying to load these remakes on thier amigas otherwise (I know, I know.. It has happened though!).
Good work mate.
btw when you coming to visit me again?

| Stormbringer | 12-11-2008 @ 14:05 | | Slams: 863 | @Hardrider: eager to see some remakes then! also do not hesitate to ask for help if needed!
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| Hardrider | 11-11-2008 @ 20:28 | | Slams: 6 | @Stormbringer: I will for sure :-) Still some minor points to fix. i will ask on www.dbfinteractive.com |
| Shockwave | 10-11-2008 @ 07:47 | | Slams: 803 | I liked Vint-Age too.
I'm a sucker for rasters, and I even like the parts with the built in rom fonts.

| Stormbringer | 09-11-2008 @ 22:02 | | Slams: 863 | @Hardrider: I just had a look at your "Vingt-Age" prod. Really great old-school feeling. Would it be possible to have the TSV intros separately remade in the same format as we have here? If you need some help with coding you can still ask me or ask people on www.dbfinteractive.com.
It would simply be great to have all these old intros running properly without the need of an emulator

| Hardrider | 09-11-2008 @ 21:29 | | Slams: 6 | @Stormbringer: The 3 guys in in fact the 3rd one. If you search at pouet.net under my name, there is a release for the 20th anniversary of my first intro on Amiga. it's called Vingt-Age. You will see, there is almost all intro made for TSV. And you will of course notice that I forgot the vsync :-) having it at the right speed only on my PC :-(
I've to find a bit time to review the code :-)
|
| Stormbringer | 09-11-2008 @ 20:47 | | Slams: 863 | @Hardrider: hehe so true... any chance to get the (first?) TSV intro? The one that had the 3 Iron Maiden's Eddie sitting or something similar?
http://www.retro-remakes.net |
| Hardrider | 09-11-2008 @ 19:38 | | Slams: 6 | Yep, remember his messy room too :-)
I'll have a llok what I have in SRC on the amiga. Even mine, I've no clue where they are :-( When I did the compo @ Bunzli last year, I had to disassemble the TSV intros to get the copper colors and data :-) |
| Stormbringer | 09-11-2008 @ 13:35 | | Slams: 863 | @Hardrider: great news! Yeah, Olivier had his old Archimedes in his manor in Launay hehe... I remeber his messy room and him watching horror movies while coding!
It would be great if you want to contribute! The mission here is to remake ALL Amiga intros/cracktros/demos. That's like 20 years of work or so...
BTW, if you have old Amiga intros/demos w/source code, send them over. It's always faster than desassembling them
